As part of the Journées de la culture, the François-Lamy Foundation invites you to a unique evening where past and present voices meet.
“Poets Not Gone” celebrates poetry as a living art — deeply rooted in the land and open to a diversity of sensibilities. The first half of the evening features readings of poems from the past — texts drawn from collective memory or literary heritage, brought back to life by passionate readers.
Then, it’s time for contemporary creation: an open mic for local poets, whether emerging or experienced, to share their words, their anger, their tenderness, their imagery. Slam, performance, simple reading or theatrical presentation — all forms are welcome.
The women’s choir Les Voizelles will offer a musical interlude, weaving an emotional thread between times and voices.
An evening to listen, feel, remember — and above all, to share — because poets are not gone.
